1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of BibleXY, a mobile application and related website owned and operated by Abiyz Inc. By using BibleXY, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use BibleXY.
2. The BibleXY Service
BibleXY provides Bible verses, illustration images, explanatory text, reflection content, reading features, and related mobile app functionality. We may add, remove, change, or limit features, content, and availability over time.
3. Eligibility
BibleXY is designed to be suitable for users age 4 and older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use BibleXY only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian is responsible for a minor's use of BibleXY, including any in-app subscription purchase.
4. Free Access and Subscriptions
BibleXY may allow access to selected free verses. Full access to the verse library, illustration images, detailed explanations, and future premium content may require a paid in-app subscription.
Subscription prices, billing periods, trials, renewals, and cancellation options are shown before purchase in the applicable app marketplace or in BibleXY. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date according to the marketplace rules.
You are responsible for managing and canceling your subscription through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or other marketplace account where you subscribed. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. Refunds, when available, are handled by the applicable marketplace or as required by law.
5. License to Use BibleXY
Subject to these Terms, Abiyz Inc. grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use BibleXY for personal, non-commercial purposes.
6. User Content and Saved Information
BibleXY may let you save verses, preferences, notes, or other information. You are responsible for content you add to the app and for ensuring that you have the rights needed to use it. You grant Abiyz Inc. a limited license to process that content only as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve BibleXY.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use BibleXY for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
- Copy, scrape, redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit app content.
- Reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt BibleXY or its systems.
- Bypass subscriptions, access controls, security measures, or usage limits.
- Upload or transmit malware, spam, or content that violates others' rights.
- Misrepresent your identity or attempt to access another user's account.
8. Intellectual Property
BibleXY, including its app design, illustrations, explanations, text, graphics, logos, software, and other content, is owned by Abiyz Inc. or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
Bible quotations may be subject to separate copyright notices, licenses, or usage rules from the applicable Bible translation. BibleXY may identify those notices in the app where required.
9. Spiritual and Educational Content
BibleXY is provided for personal, devotional, educational, and informational use. It is not professional counseling, legal, medical, financial, or mental health advice. You are responsible for your own decisions and interpretation.
10. Third-Party Services
BibleXY may rely on third-party services such as app marketplaces, hosting, analytics, crash reporting, subscription validation, and support tools. Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
11. Updates and Availability
We may update BibleXY to add features, fix issues, improve security, or comply with platform requirements. BibleXY may be unavailable from time to time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
12. Termination
You may stop using BibleXY at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, caused harm, or used BibleXY unlawfully. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
13. Disclaimers
BibleXY is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Abiyz Inc. disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Abiyz Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill arising from or related to BibleXY or these Terms.
15. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Abiyz Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of BibleXY, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the applicable state law of Abiyz Inc.'s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating the effective date, posting a notice, or providing an in-app message where appropriate. Continued use of BibleXY after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
